“Everyones a winner” art show by tony brown, sat sep 20th

Working across painting, sculpture, ceramics, installation, and works on paper, artist Tony Brown repurposes old materials to give them new meanings. He deconstructs, reorganizes, strips, paints, and reshapes his materials. Brown’s paper collage inlays, which involve adding and removing elements of the original image, rely on the absence of material as its presence.
